RED! Lots of it!

Red is really "clean" and "slick"

So far, I'm loving it.
I showed my mom and all she said was...Is that true to color? Yes? Wow.

Once you give it that second coat, you can really see it coming into its own

Will you do the ceiling in red as well?

it's going to be a very pale yellow, lighter than the hallway.
Supposed to be fire inspired.

This is supposed to be chili pepper red.

I am pretty much in love with it. It's turning out really well. I've been pulled off paint duty for the night. He says NO MORE!

It's a little out of place in the rest of the house right now...I'm going to replace all the trim and door casings, as well as case out the windows, and we're tiling the whole house the same color as my bathroom (reddish tile...)...so disregard all those details.

Oh, and crown moulding. That's going to be done at the same time as the tiling.

My next big project is my living room.
You can kind of see it in some of the pictures and can see the paneling that is in there. It's GORGEOUS paneling, but it's VERY dated.
I'm not going ot take the paneling down but I am going to paint it...
And I'm taking the popcorn down...then smoothing and dealing with the ceiling. HOORAY for all that work, yes?
Thing is I need to tie my living room to the hallway slightly, or at least have colors that will compliment the red in the background. *Sigh*
I think we found a color scheme that will work but we're mulling it slowly.
