Red MAC lipsticks

I am more of a nude lipstick gal. When I'm not doing nude lips I'll reach for plum (in the winter) or coral (in the summer). I'd like to try a red but I'm not sure which one would suit me. Would Russian Red or Ruby Woo work on me (I'm pale with yellow undertones - NC15/dark blonde/green eyes) or are those more for people with pink undertones? I know nothing about reds....I do have and like Queens Sin, but I consider that one to be more for the holidays. TIA!

and could never get a red to suit me
but this is just a gorgeous pinky red!

I am a NW20 and I recently bought Classic Dame lipstick it works well on me...Hope that helps...

Russian Red and Ruby Woo are both blue-based reds, which work on pretty much everyone.

It really depends what kind of red lip you're going for...seeing as you have fair skin, both Russian Red and Ruby Woo would look like strong, true reds on you. However if you want something more subdued, then check out Rozz Revival.

I'm very fair with olive-yellow undertones (I've never been matched to MAC but I'm like NC15-20) and I have tons of different reds, and I think that for me, orange and blue based reds look much better than pink-based reds.

I actually just asked this question a bit ago. Lady Bug was one colour that kept coming back up so I'm going to check it out. I'm still a little too chicken though and I've spent too much money on other MAC to justify another purchase

maybe try lady danger lipstick as its a warmer more orange red but still bright very retro xxx

I like lady bug too! and I have fair skin/blond hair/blue eyes. You can use it sheer with gloss or pack it on for a heavy lip. very pretty either way. do check it out. hth!

Im NC 20/25 and I vote for Lady Bug =) The Originals arrive in my country tomorrow and I cant wait to check out Rozz Revival.. see if you can still try that one as well.. Im sure it would suit warm skintones like us because its yellow based

Honestly I've learned that with red lipsticks you have to try them on to see what you like. Everyone has a different idea of what a good red lipstick is and only you really know wht you're looking for. I personally have a huge variety of red lips depending on my mood.
