Red She Said invite!!

OMG! I got an invitation to the Red She Said event at my MAC store!! It's for the first weekend in October and I called to RSVP! I just don't know what to expect b/c I've never been to a MAC event before. Do they have the collection out to preview and buy?? It also said on the pretty metallic red card (

) something about cocktails and canapes. It's on a Sunday from 5-7pm so I guess they keep it going after the mall closes. Anyone have any good stories or can tell me about MAC events???

Yup, they have the collection out to preview and purchase. They serve a lot of food, sweets, and cocktails. It's awesome and oh so pack! You're going to the one in Metairie, LA correct?

Actually it's the one at Mall of LA in Baton Rouge. I shop there more than the one in Metairie. Do you know how they pick people to invite or do they invite all customers??

i went to work today and i saw these red MAC envelopes sitting on the shelf so i opened them and they were invites to the red she said private party. i turned to my manager and told her "i'm gonna walk over to MAC right now and RSVP"

So, my mother called me into her room today and was like "oh, and this came for you in the mail the other day"

I almost passed out when I realized that it was an invite to the Red She Said party at my local mac (Harlem, NY).
I was having such a bad day and that just made me sooo happy. If anyone is going to that one let me know, I would love to meet up!

*oh, and why did they print the invites like that? I could hardly read what it said with all the red on red print and shiny background.

I thought the same thing!!! It was pretty and all but very hard to read. All I could see straight off was the Jose Cuervo symbol!!!

Ohhh the event is today and tomorrow in Houston. whooo! they're setting up a tent outside the Gucci store in the Galleria (which is right by MAC) and having drinks and little appetizers. and I get to get my MU done! whooo!!!
