Reddish brown brow color

I have very red hair (bright auburn really) but my brows are terminally dishwater brown. I've tried coloring them but they just don't take dye at all so I resort to filling them in. I really prefer eyeshadows for brow filler but don't have one that really suits. I've used a dark brown, which is really too dark, and MAC's Brown Script which is a nice shade but my brow hairs are darker and so it looks uneven.

Hmmm, I sort of have a similar problem. I dye my hair various shades of auburn and red so finding a brow color that works took a while. My holy grail for my brows is Bare Escentuals's Brow Kit in auburn. It has a brush, brow gel, and powder. The powder is a medium-dark (depending on how you apply) red-brown that fills in my brows nicely. HTHS!

urban decay roach e/s is a good reddish brown...you can apply it lightly so it won't be too dark.

Clinique makes an eyebrow pencil called "soft auburn" that may work. Even though you prefer eyeshadows you may want to give this pencil a try.

MAC makes an awsome brow gel called Brow Set. When I dyed my hair I started using the Auburn shade and it was amazing and gave my hair and brows a cohesive look.
