Regular brushes or holiday brush sets

I don't own any MAC brushes and could spend probably another $50 and get a complete long handled set.

i was wondering the same thing.

i heard that the holiday sets aren't worth it and the better investment is the regular sized ones. I thought the holiday set would be an accurate representation to entice you into buying the full sized. Now I'm all confused cuz some say get it to try, others say it isn't worth it and get the full sized instead...

Brushes in sets are usually mass manufactured while individual brushes are partially handmade. I prefer buying the brushes I need individually rather than in a set.

If you travel a lot or need a travel set, get the holiday set. Otherwise, like Kuuipo said, it's better to get a full sized set.
