release date for rebel rock

Ahhhhh, the Bay just called me to let me know that their C-Squeeze was finally in (just a little late

) Anyhow, of course I asked about Rebel Rock and the MA said she had just come back from update yesterday and that Rebel Rock was definitely not released until August 4th. I told her it was supposed to be on the 21st of July and she specifically said Mac had held it back because it was too close to other release dates. WTF?? Now I am really upset b/c I want that Blitz and Glitz fluidline really bad. Oh yeah, the MA said it is absolutely gorgeous and that it was the best fluidline yet. Oh, she also said they have 2 new colours right now (in stock, but not for sale) that aren't available yet. She said one is called Periwinkle and couldn't remember the name of the other?? What's that about?

I'm in Ontario, Canada (Mississauga). I just called the MAC freestanding store in Square One Mall and they said that their release date is June 21st. I know that releases are always on a Thursday, well, at that particular store anyway.

August 4th is a thursday too, that's what scares me. I sure hope she is wrong.

I called my local Bay counter a couple days ago, and they weren't sure, but said it would be the 21st or 28th.

I just talked to the Robson St pro store and they assured me the collection releases on the 21st of July. She said even the Bay counters should have it then b/c they are supposed to put things up the same day as the MAC release date. She told me if I had a problem at my counter to call the Pro store and place my order with them. That's probably what I will do if our counter is late or delayed yet again.
