REQ: Cupid Costume Recs

Hi

I was wondering if any of you had any ideas of how I should be doing my makeup for being cupid. plus, i have no idea which fake eyelashes to buy. i want it to be super girly and pretty. i'll probably be adding rhinestones or something too. it can be completely over the top. here's a pic of me if that helps...

Since Cupid is a boy and you want to look girly

, maybe you could call it Venus instead (you totally can pull this off

). For colors I'd use different shades of gold for eyes and lips (would go beautifully with your hair and skin, and is appropriate for a greek goddess), and either make a girly heart of gold leaves or rhinestones on your cheek, or for the more elegant/ grownup version just arrange the gold/ stones as 2 heart-halves around the brows/ on the temples.

edit: I don't know from which collection it was, but for the mask I mean a similar effect the postcard-girl with the teal eyeshadow and golden cheeks had.
