ok,since no one posted, but 18 people viewed this, I thought I would share my experience
I checked out the cs active and passed on it b/c it said that it had to me blended very quickly and i like to apply liquids w/ a brush.
So i got the orginal formula-but with "softflex technology"(perhaps the former had a dry feeling??)
I got the one for oily-normal skin since moisture is part of the prob in the summer with my skin.
anyhow, it applied beautifully with a skunk brush and provides nice med coverage. Nice blendability. *light feel-but i can feel i am wearing makeup-something i do not sense with bare escentuals.
I am sweating right now(because i am a beast-lol), and it doesn't look to be floating on the surface of my skin like the BE did. I will just have to use that seasonally.
the swatch on my hand is not rubbing off, and i have washed them already since I got home
I was lucky to have found a good color match-a prob with drugstore brands.Nice neutral choices-not a whole lot of pinky peachy orangey ness that plagues much foundation out there.
I was going to try Studio fix fluid, but I have had no success with Mac foundation over the last 14 years that I have tried off and on.(color as well as feel/breakout/sweatproofablilty)
This has a pleasant nondescript light fragrance-which I like as I have become a fragrance nazi lately.
