*Rock Concert FOTN for a friend!* r/o

she went to a rock concert yesterday so requested something fun. I would've gone but I had a dinner out with the family lol!

I want to start a portfolio. Think these (I have more pics of her too) are good pics for one? I have no idea how to really make one but freelance makeup would be FUN

Used a lot of things but mostly MAC Gold Dusk, Teal, Blue Brown pigments
Mark black liquid liner to line
CG lash exact mascara and Lancome mascara over it (not sure which one)

thanks for looking and I would love and constructive criticism/remarks over the whole portfolio idea. Im 17 but I would really love to get into this. thanks!!

I love the makeup but I don't think the quality of those pictures would make them good choices for a portfolio.

I agree. You should invest in a good quality digital camera if you want build a portfolio

i agree again. i am in LOVELOVELOVE with the makeup

its flawless and i think ill have to try it sometime

but i think the pic quality should be a bit better (but then again it varies and i certainly dont know everything.) make sure that on your camera, you're using the highest quality. MissChievious(hope i didn't spell that wrong) made an amazing tutorial about how to take better pictures of the makeup. hope that helps!

As far as starting a portfolio, you may consider talking to one of the girls on this site who works in the industry and asking them what they did to get started and if they have any tips.
