Hey guys,

have been having withdrawal symptoms while waiting for c-squeese, rebel rock etc to be released here, so had to buy SOMETHING to satisfy my mac craving last night

Anyhoo, got Cockatease l/s, lychee lux l/g (which i love!) and Rose pigment, which i am having second thoughts about.... wearing it today as a wash with Sable e/s in crease and as a liner and a light dusting on my cheeks, but still a bit :| !!!

So, any suggestions as to what else i could wear it with??
(am brunette, dark green eyes, sallow skin)

I need a shadestick underneath rose, otherwise it will fall right off! I love the color and I hate the texture with it's nonexisting stayingpower...to bad because it's an awesome color!!

Swipe a bit of rose pigment on your checks using a brush or your fingers, then wet your fingers slightly under the tap and rub pigment into cheeks using circular motion.

Rose pigment needs a shadestick or it flakes everywhere. That said, the colour is really pretty. I love it all over with woodwinked or antiqued in the crease. I haven't tried it yet, but I bet the burgandy in beautymarked e/s would also look great with it. I also use a light dusting as a cheek highlighter and it makes a beautiful lipgloss. I bought a tube of lipglass, squeezed some into a container and added pigment until I had the colour I wanted. I mixed it well, and voila, great lipgloss. Hope that helps.

you can work with the texture by putting it on your hand first. then working with it on your eyes, or lips or cheeks

I once used rose on the inner halves of my lids, and blue-brown on the outter halves of my lids, it was dramatic and not an officey day look but it looked pretty awesome. I also like it mixed with clear or Babied lipgloss

I tried using Rose with Steel Blue and Golden Olive and Vanilla as highlighter. Looks really amazing in that combo too!

This was exactly what I was going to recommend you do. Try mixing it also with some of the lipglass tastis, if you have any, like Tropicolada, Sweet Brule. Creme Cocktail.

Pssst...Rose pigment mixed w/ Sweet Brule is a near-dupe of Dainty Cake l/s!
