I’ve been recently inspired by some of the spring-y looks I’ve been seeing posted on here. I guess I’m trying to be a makeup jack of all trades, here. I want to be able to pull every look I see! Or at least try to… :p Lemme know what you think.

Suggestions are always welcome.

I’m trying to expand my blending skills. I’m not as good as some of you all are, but give me time I’m still learning!

I used:

(The usual face suspects):
MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC40
The Body Shop Brush On Gold
MAC Sheertones Blush in Blunt

Eyes:
MAC Pigments: Night Light, Softwash Grey, & Gold Dusk
Hard Candy Sour Apple Eyeshadow
Max Factor Lash Perfection Mascara in Rich Black
Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown (I’m thinking about trying a powder. Any recommendations?)

Lips:
H.I.P. Lipgloss in Jubiliant (There’s a pic, I think where I have most of it blotted off. It leaves a wonderful mauvey gold shimmer)

(A few of these were taken in different places, so that is why the tones are a bit different!)

(Sorry my hair's the same in a of my FOTDs. I'm not one for consistency, but I'm trying to maintain the will to grow it out. I've had it short for a looooooooong time. I have to keep it out of my face or I'll have it all chopped off!!!)

Thanks everyone for looking! Like I said, suggestions, ideas, & even critique (I think I'm brave enough now to handle it!) is welcome.

Mzreyes...all I did was take the equivalent of MAC's "fluffy" brush & work the pigment into it by swirling the brush in the cap of the jar until I have it densely packed into the brush & apply using short but firm strokes. Then I go over it about 2 - 3 times. Hope that made sense. Thanks everyone for commenting! I wasn't 100% sure about this look, but you all give me confidence!
