Hi all! My name is Emily, I'm 20, and from Massachusetts, however I am currently living in Tampa, FL. I am a color consultant at Sephora, and I am also a barista at Starbucks and a waitress. Yes, I work A LOT so that I can save up to go to makeup school in NYC. My dream has always been to live in NYC, so it is something I work very hard for. My favorite thing in the world is my Boston Terrier, Billie. I also enjoy high fashion, photography, cooking, and traveling.

I've loved MAC for years, some of the very first products I ever purchased from them were Scene 1 eyeshadow, Pink Nouveau lipstick, and NC15 studio fix fluid. My current favorite MAC products are Studio fix powder (N3), Angel and Dubonnet lipsticks, and mineralize skinfinish in Soft and Gentle. My other favorite brands are Nars, MUFE, and Dior.

I too am new. I am a stay at home mum who is hoping to start a part time make up course in august of this year. It has been my lifelong dream to do so and I can't wait! How long till your course starts?

Ive always wanted to do a beauty course but they don't do any where I live. oh well I still love it and I'm a huge mac addict

I see that you live in Wales, maybe you could check out some of the makeup schools in London? Or if you're really serious about a career as a MUA, maybe even check out the Make Up For Ever Academy in Paris? It's a hike for you but one of the best makeup schools in the world, almost everyone who graduates from there lands all kinds of amazing jobs right away. I can't wait till they open their new school in NYC. Good luck!
