Scheduling a Makeover

I need to get my make up done for headshots and I would rather go to MAC on my way to the photo shoot than hire a freelance MUA.
But I need to make sure I can get it done early and it has to be natural.

I'm sort of a newbie and I want to make sure I won’t be out of line telling the MUA how to do my make up. I don't mean being a customer from hell - grabbing the tools, throwing a tantrum and stuff, but I do have little specific things I want, like last time the MUA only used concealer under my eyes and around my nose - no foundation, and I prefer brown eyeliner.

So basically I can just call the store and make an appointment to get my MU done and tell them what I need? And I just need to buy at least $40 of product?

i would say call the mac store and see how much it cost to do a full makeup application...if you are going to do a full application tell the makeup artist what it is for and tell them you want a natural loook or i would say to try and find a picture of someone that u like how there makeup looks

I think if you're nice about it and open from the beginning most MA's would be really happy to help you out and like direction from you of what you're looking for.
