Ok, so I just can't get this blending the crease thing DOWN. Why can I blend fine side to side, but I can't get that fading up look? Christ, I give up.

I think you totally got the blending in your crease down... If anything, just blend your top edges a little more & it looks GREAT! Youre so pretty... I love your eyes

It looks gorgeous, maybe the chapstick is making it difficult to blend, I blend from side to side to I just do that and then move the brush up towards the brow then apply my highlight and blend that down to meet with the other colour hope you know what i mean

I really like the lid colors...But for some reason the silverish highlight seems to overpower the main colors....But it may just be my monitor ...however I would personally go with a more subtle highlighter...

You skin is always so flawless...

Great look.

Try blending with a clean brush and only go from the very perimeter of the colour you want to fade out. Make sure that you just lightly skim the brush over the area with quick short strokes.

Very pretty.
I agree with Tish though.
I think a more subtle highlight might make it appear more blended.

ETA: Just wondering, why do you use chapstick and UDPP? I also think the chapstick might make it harder to blend.

Chapstick makes the colors more prominent. Today I'm going to ATTEMPT to blend my crease upwards, and my highlight downwards...see if that helps.

TISH is right...I should have left the highlight as Creme Royal instead of putting Pure Sugar on top of it.

Pretty look!

But wouldn't the chapstick make your eyeshadow more prone to creasing? It may be a sticky base that makes the colors pop, but to me it wouldn't seem like a very long-wearing formula..

So far (knock on wood), I've never ever had shadow crease with Chapstick. I really really like using it.

I tried my brand new paint pot the other day and HATED it. I took it off and went back to Chapstick, lol.

ETA: I should clarify...I've never had it crease that I could see. It could be creasing, and maybe I don't see it under my wrinkles, lol. I dunno. But I rub it in pretty good, so it's not sitting on my lid like a big oily mess.

I think this look is beautiful. You might choose diffrent textures to get your desired effect though. I dont think its your blending really. Try a matte color similer to trax in your crease and your merlot color is up a little high. Try keeping it more in the outer v and blend up a little into the crease. I think that should give you the effect you are looking for. The matte on the crease will really make your lid POP as well! Also for the highlight try a satin finish. nothing shimmery. My favorite is shroom. Hope this helps!
