select sheer pressed powder or msf natural

hey all i was wondering which one do you guys like better? i have combination skin and have been using blot powder in medium dark (i'm nc40), but lately when i'm out and i take a look at myself in the car in the sunlight, my face looks cakey. especially under my eyes and on my cheeks (so it makes my blush look streaky). oh yeah i use studio fix fluid too. i don't know if it's because i don't clean my foundation brush like i used to everyday or because of the blot powder. i have tried sspp once and it seemed to go on smoothly. and as for the msf natural for some people i heard it's too "frosty" and doesn't have much staying power. so what do you guys think i should use to set my foundation but can also use w/o foundation for those lazy days? tia.

I personally prefer msf natural as i find it gives my makeup a smooth finish and doesn't look cakey.
I use my studio fix fluid then dust on the msf natural and find that it lasts even through my long school days.

And on the weekends, i just dust the msf natural and i'm good to go.

Hope this helps!

MSF Natural is not frosty at all! I put it on my SFF with Mac's 182 kabuki brush and my skin is flawless!

i use studio fix fluid too and i have both select sheer pressed and msf natural. both r awesome but msf natural has lesser coverrage gives a gud sheen and is very natural. and no frost. this is the first i hav heard of msf being frosty and just use moisturiser underneath.or mix a drop of foundation with moisturiser if u want a little tint! hope tht helps

I had the same problem with the MSF. After realizing if I use a lighter hand, and buff after it is not cakey. I also use my 187 brush.

MSF naturals are great, but one thing to keep in mind is that because of the minerals, it will look a little lighter in pictures with flash.

i'm glad i came aross this topic.. i use select spf liquid (NW25) and set it with sheer pressed powder (NC30), both with the 187 brush. then i mist my face with the fix+. just today i noticed (sitting in traffic in my truck) that my face looked kinda powdery/cakey. i'm not sure if this is the nature of the pressed powder, or maybe i am using the wrong brush to put the pressed powder over my foundation.. do you think MSF natural will look more natural and omit that powdery complexion the pressed powder gives me?
