Select Tint SPF 15 Troubles?

I have Select Tint SPF 15 Foundation, and it feels really nice, very smooth, sheer. I don't really like sheer products that much, I'm more of a full coverage type person, but sometimes I DO want a very sheer natural foundation just to even skin if I need to like, say, go to the grocery or something, whatever.

The problem is I find that this product like... oxidizes on my skin, like coagulates and creates gross like... not really lumps, but places where it's too dry and thick or something. It's hard to explain, but I'd really like someone's advice on how to prevent this if it's possible. =/ Thanks!!

I wish I could help. I tried this last summer and was very unimpressed. It oxidized and looked really oily after a few hours. I was disappointed.

I'm not sure what to do about that since I've never tried it.

If all else fails why not mix in your moisturizer with a heavier foundation? It's not too much extra work and it'll still be sheer.

I use this a lot. Sometimes I mix it with a drop or two of heavier liquid foundation (as suggested by Simply Elegant) or sheer it out even more by mixing it with a light moisturizer. Sometimes I brush MSF Natural over it. (The MSF Natural also gives a nice light coverage on its own, depending on application.)

I don't have the oxidization thing w/ the Select SPF 15, but I do sometimes wear a primer w/ it and that makes it look even smoother. I like the Clarins Instant Smooth Perfect Touch or the DHC Velvet Skin Coat.

I also shake it up pretty thoroughly before dispensing and apply with fingertips...maybe you're already doing either or both, but thought I'd make the mention just in case.
