with all the great ornamentalism hauls, i want to know more about this shadow!

is it comparable to satin taupe?

Not at all, it's like a warm coppery brown with silver glitter, while Satin Taupe is more of a purpley greyish brown.

But I love them both-- they're both such interesting complex colors.

i bought sensualize becuase it was a nice mix of copper and brown plus silver glitter! only bad thing is its a lustre and you have to be very careful with what brushes you apply it with and how, other than that its a great color!

It is such a close match to Chocolate Pigment. The only difference is that Sensualize has the fine, silver glitter throughout whereas the Chocolate Pigment does not.

I wanted to buy this color, but when I saw it was a Lustre I passed on it. However, I did do the hand test and it went on pretty good. My question is, on the MAC website, it says it's a Frost and not a Lustre. So either they messed up on the labels or the website is wrong. I may have to email MAC when I get home and find out. If it's a frost I'm def. getting it.
One question:

At first, I thought it looked a little like Twinks or Falling Star but I didn't swatch them on my hand. Anyone know how they compare??
TIA!!!

Ooh, perhaps I can pass on it; lustres seem to hardly show up on my naked lids; always has to be on top of another e/s. But it looks so nice! Perhaps Chocolate pig't has my name on it...

Edit: Sensualise is now definitely marked as lustre. just saw it then.

I just tried this color out this morning. I definately wears more like a frost than a lustre. I am very happy with it. I'm generally not a fan of lustres, but I didn't have any flaking or glitter issues with this one. I used it over stilife paint. Here is a comparison pic.
First is Sensualize (deep brown with silver)
Middle is Earthy delight ( similar, but with a red burgandy tone)
Last is Chocolate Brown pigment (slightly deeper with less shimmer)

This is my eye from today. It is Sensualize as a wash, with just a teensy bit of blue absinthe blended into the inner corner.

The pics are a little fuzzy, but you get the idea...

sxychika....you better go get!

I LOVE this eyeshadow! Not like satin taupe at all for me, more of a neutral brownish shade, not tooooo sparkly....the swatches show it just great! I bought a backup too.

I would recommend the Chocolate Brown pigment over the Sensualize hun. Sensualize is very pretty but the pigment has a deeper and richer depth to it. Also, the Sensualize has this silver micro shimmer that throws me off somewhat. However, I am a big Pigment whore so I will always over opt for the pigment
