Sephora Must Haves

So basically I have 50% off anything at Sephora so I would appreciate any must haves you think I should get.

I already have UDPP so that is off the list. Please list any brushes too!

Keep in mind that I am only 13 so please do not recommend like bright orange eyeshadow [teehee.. you get the point] or foundation.

I am also planning a fashion show to raise money for the Cancer Research Institute and it will be a Spring show in '09. Please recommend makeup for that too. Thanks

p.s. for reference, I am an NC40-42 in MAC. Hope that helps

I would recommend a eyeshadow palette (Urban Decay Book of Shadows) because you have more bang for your buck and the color in there are pretty neutral IMO nothing crazy. The colors in there would match anyone. I also love UD 24/7 eyeliner in Zero (black) the staying power is pretty good and it's creamy. A set of glosses would be good too, luckily it's the holiday season and there are many to choose from. An eyelash curler (Shu Uemura) would be great too.

As for brushes, I mainly use Mac so I wouldn't really know what to recommend.

i love the Too Faced retractable kabuki brush, it is great for applying mineral foundations, powders, blushes and bronzers..

oh and Stila eyeshadows! they are so soft and very well pigmented, and definitely not too loud so they could work for many skintones..

i also recommend NARS multiples.. they are multipurpose sticks that can be used for eyes, lips and cheeks.. very versatile!

If you use a gel liner, the Smashbox arched eyeliner brush is amazing.

I also really love the MUFE HD foundation, and the Philosophy shower gels are always fun and delicious. The Shu Uemura eyelash curler is a MUST if you don't have one yet!

I like the UD 24/7 liners, NARS Blushes (I love Orgasm, Matahari, and Albatross), MUFE 5 Camouflage Concealer Palette, MUFE HD (Translucent) Powder, Philosophy's lotion/perfume in Falling in Love (although all the scents are awesome), Rosebud Salve, Stila lip glazes (Grapefruit and Apricot I love)...that's all I can think of right now. Hope that helps, and yay for 50% off!!

I LOVE the Guerlain Eye Kohl. The one that comes in like a tube with a stick that you use the traditional way.
But I agree with the person that said get eyeshadow palletes like the ones from Urban Decay or even the NARS holiday ones as you are getting more for your money and will be able to experiment with different looks.

If your doing a project on cancer research. I would work that in with against animal Testing.
That would include MAC (not sold in sephora), smashbox, urban decay, Amazing Cosmetics, Nars, I'm sure their are more. I would use products in the fashion show that are all cruelty free.

Too Faceds Ooh and Aah eyeshadow duo is fabulous. Actually, anything from TF is great.

They also don't test on animals.

I recommend the Urabn Decay 24/7 glide on eyeliner, Shu Uemura eyelash curler, Urban Decay Delux Eyeshadow Palette, and some NARS blushes. For the Sephora brushes, you can get any of the brushes. I have the Medium eyeshadow brush and my sister has the brush set and the concealer brush.

Get Sephora Professional brushes, they are uber fantastic. Go to NARS for lipstick, Fusion Beauty for Lip Plumpers, and Vincent Longo for powders and foundation and MUFE for shadows and water proof pencils. Buy an Imju Fibrewig mascara, its a lifechanging product. Also, any of the Dior Quints or Yves Saint Laurent quints are da bomb. I also can not live without Shiseido blotting papers and Guerlain lipsticks and the Guerlain liquid liner is the best liner I have ever used......

Like some people said... the Sephora Pro brushes are all really great quality and last forever... I have had mine for years and they are still in great shape. They make a "Roll Up" brush set that is not teeny-tiny but great for on the go, so that would be nice for your Fashion Show.

The Urban Decay shadows stay on really well (kind of like MAC you can really see the pigment). I like their palletts bc you can sample a bunch of different colors at once.

My fav mascara is the DIORSHOW mascara and they sell it at Sephora.

The Sephora lip gloss holiday set of 10 colors is really cute. I just got it and I really like the colors and they are pretty sheer and give you lots of shine!
