September 2006 Challenge 1- "I Spy"

Hey gals and guys! As a little kid you may have played a game that started with the phrase "I spy with my little eye something with the colors,.." Well that is the inspiration of this month's challenge. I have noticed that sometimes I find myself copying the colors from everyday items,.. sometimes food ads,.. from the strangest places,... So this month's challenge is to do your makeup and show the item that inspired you with the idea and your corresponding FOTD.

I used my shower curtain. I bought it because it's so bright and cheery and I thought it would really help to wake me up in the mornings. I can see it from my desk, whenever I'm sitting at the computer.

I just want to say that I haven't posted a FOTD in probably over a year, and I forgot all my little camera tricks that I used to use. That being said, I took TONS of pics and they still didn't come out like I would have liked them to. The orange was ultra-bright in person, and there was gold glitter on the inner and outer corners that you really can't see in the pics.

Also, I didn't bother with any mascara or eyelash curlers or anything, since it was almost bedtime and trying to wash mascara off is always such a pain in the butt.

I tried to get a pink to match but it ended up with about 4 different pinks. The silver is representing the inside metal bit. [don't mind the v bad eyebrows!]
