September 2006 Challenge -Masks- Gemstone of the Month-Sapphires

The birthstone of the month is Sapphires for September,.. such beautiful colors and a beautiful stone,.. This month's mask challenge will be to create a mask using hues of Sapphire. The classic Sapphire is a rich blue color in shades that vary from midnight to the powder and violet blue. Sapphires also come in an array of other dazzling colors. So this challenge is to create a mask using Sapphire colors/inspirations.

GG You are freaking GORGEOUS.

Well Unfortunately I'm not nearly as beautiful as GG or as talented but since I wanted to do it just for the pure hell of it and not for practicing my skill I just tried it. I may actually wear this to a ceremony one of these days (um-dont ask)
I think these may be too big not sure can't fix the size.

The side. The spot you see is supposed to be a pink flower and ribbons but it didnt show up. instead it looks like a bruise

I can tell you I felt crazy,.. I actually had to run and pick my grandmother up from her weekly meeting and I didn't have time to take it off before I went. I kinda figured someone driving by thought I was crazy,... LOL. Thankfully I didnt have to get out of the car. But my Grams,.. she is used to me doing crazy makeup,.. I believe she only ever raised an eyebrow and my Red mono-color look because it was so friggin bright,..
