SEPTEMBER 2008: fabulous fall

it's time again for a new specktra makeup challenge! let's get out those brushes and pop open those compacts, ladies and gents.

there's always a ton of new trends in the fall season, and we want to see your take on them! whether you're following the latest trend, or just a fan of fall colours, there's no doubt this is one of the best seasons for makeup!

* please remember the image size guidelines when posting your challenge faces, as this is still part of the fotd forum and nobody likes stretched tables.
* there will be no voting, and no winners or prizes are awarded for challenges.

The eyes are inspired by the color of autumn leaves: purples, browns, bronzes, reds, and golds. I made it subtle so the berry-stained lips wouldn't be too much.

Also, I hear "gold" is going to be a big fall trend so I'll post a gold eye I did a while back.

I hope other people post their looks too. I feel kinda awkward having the only entry up here... >.> <.<

Okay, I'll bite on this one, partially because it's pushing my comfort level but I am venturing out into burgundy/plummy shades lately for fall!

don't think these are so "challenge-worthy" but I am trying to help out chocolategoddess here and any others who are thinking of adding some pics to get us going!!

this one I used Romp, Twinks and Smoke Signal p/g, with Enbronze glitter liner (the last two I just picked up at the CCO and fell in love with!). Looked so much darker and fall-like IRL but you get the idea!

And only have an eye shot on this one, because it was a last minute thing a little while back.. but I used Nars Night fever and Cargo Martinique, and I think Wedge to blend in crease...made my blue eyes stand out, sorry you can't see that. ha

I also prefer to add some color to the warm fall. I love darker shades, but I also love vibrant colors all year around.
This is a look I will be wearing this fall also. I love blues on brown eyes!
