They said today was going to be a super lucky day but it was just another day to me!

So, yesterday Lisa & i went to the dollar store. Now, everywhere i go i look at the makeup cause you never know what you'll find. I have never found anything like these shadows that I found there though! They are WONDERFUL and the price is right for just a dollar! I bought 3 for now & i'm sure i'll be back for more ASAP! Its a brand called "splash" that i'd never heard of before. I just love the texture and the color pay-off is GREAT! I am sooo thrilled with them. Now in the same brand i found this beautiful gitter. Glitter really scares me but i thought, what the hell... give it a shot. So, i bought 2 of them too

I also got a gorgeous blue liquid liner! I've never used anything but black in liquid...

Anyway... sorry for rambling my point of all that is that i used the glitter today and dont really like how it showed up in the pictures. In real life it looked a little better i guess. I definitly need to work on my glitter skills though

Wow, what a great find at the dollar store...SCORE! The last pic is priceless, lol! You look great, Carly, and I think you did a nice job with the glitter...it isn't at all messy or "out of place" if ya know what I mean...no need to worry, you look beautiful as always girl!

i like the way the blue is blended out a little more than you normally do it, it's softer but still dramatic

I was a little nervous about this one but you all made me feel much better about it!!!

So to all that were wondering what dollar store i went to. It wasnt a chain store like "dollar tree" or anything. Its just a local privately owned store, sorry.

I looked at the "splash makeup" website though. It is more expensive there but they offer a much bigger selection on the site then at the dollar store! Heres a link to the site if you want to check it out!

Great look! I've seen these at little stores in the mall (where you would find Nyx shadows) I believe they ran about 3.00, or so. They are cheaper than the website, but not as cheap as you found them! I will have to look at some dollar stores
