Shadow as liner?

I tried searching for tips on this, but I really didn't find anything.

What's the best way to use eyeshadows as a liner? I've been using a liner brush dipped in water, but that doesn't quite give me the staying power I like. Does anyone have any ideas on this?

if u have the water based mixing medium u can use that.. i usually use a small angle brush slightly damp to apply e/s as liner... but in ur case u said that doesnt work for u... i use this method to line the lash line... hope this helps??
