sheer select vs blot powder

hi everyone!

i was just wondering what the difference was between the sheer select loose powder and the loose blot powder. tia!!

Blot powder is translucent - but still comes in 5 shades as it does impart a little colour.
Select Sheer Loose - comes in many shades and adds colour and a little coverage.

I've always used Blot powder and love it - but would be interested to hear anyone thinks Select Sheer should be chosen over it.

Although I've never used the Blot Powder, I do use Select Sheer just because it does provide a little extra coverage and I find it just evens things out nicely, no other reason really other than that... plus I didnt' know about Blot powder when I bought the select sheer

blot powder definitely tightens things up when you apply it.. select adds color & about the same coverage.
