I recently bought a 40g jar of Studio Finish Face Powder in NW15, and when I received it the batch code on the bottom is A82. From what I understand, the last digit is the year in which the item was manufactured - so, in this case, 2002.
I've read that the general shelf life of powder is about two years BUT is this from the date of manufacture, or from the date of first use?
This powder is now 6 years old. It's brand new, never opened, still has the seal. I want to know if it's still ok to use, or whether or not I should contact the seller about it? I don't like starting crap, but I don't know how comfortable I am putting 6 year-old powder on my face...
