Shimpagne on black skin

Does anyone, not necessarily black but at least NW40/NC45, use Shimpagne? It's such a pretty color but I couldn't do anything with it. I keep looking at it lustfully but I end up just walking away. LOL.

i am an nc44 and i use it a lot. it is a great highlighter for me and yesterday the MA recommended it to me over shooting star. i already had it from a previous release and i still bought shooting star though!

You can see the color I am in my pic (obviously not NW40/NC45) but I do wear Shimpagne, Porcelain Pink, Shooting Star and pretty much all of the other MSF.

Ew, it looked awful on me. Maybe I should have done what you do Juneplum, and put it on top of something else...

hmm... have u tried it as a highlight? how are you using it? don't use too heavy a hand with shimpagne or it WILL look like a glittery mess on our skin coloring

i use it with the 187 or the 129 lightly to give a little shimmer.. it works great

I'm pretty light, but I do agree that Shimpagne works very well over other colors (blush, darker MSFs...)

my MA used it on my apples with "harmony" below my pretty much non existent cheekbones to contour. i don't think i'd be able to recreate it at home, but it looked very very pretty.

I did put it on quite heavily, as heavy as I tried on Shooting Star...one look and said "Hell no!" If they're still in-stock on Monday (probably in the outskirts of town) I'll try again while buying my 3rd SS.

It isn't my favorite on darker skin but it's fine as just a highlighter - whereas I get more use out of the other MSF's. I'm NC50
