I've been itching to change my hair color and style. Someone suggested going red. With my fair and cool complexion, I need some help choosing a shade of red. I'm including some links of styles/colors I've played with on makeoversolutions.com...if you have comments on the hairstyles, too that's great....or if you have other suggestions....I'll take them all!
Thanks in advance!

I really think you'd look great in red! For years people told me I couldn't "do" red...Finally I took my own advice and decided to do it...It was the best hair decision I ever made! All those naysayers who told me red would look horrible on me, loved it! It felt good to see everyone eat their words!

Go with your insticts..I knew red would be the "missing link" from my appearance..despite all the negative comments from others...You know what to do..you just need to trust yourself! But, since you did ask for opinions, my choice would be the short shag in the more "firey" red..The dark red is nice, too..but I think the red-red would look great!...I think it would do wonders for you....

Let us know what you decided to go with!

i think you should go for it! however red hair requires a lot of maintenance cuz it usually turns orange or yellow after a while and then you're gonna have to do re-touches on it.. thats what happened to me when i got red highlights in my hair =( i wish it lasted longer..

I love to add red to my hair but it is hell to keep up. That said....
I think you need a cut and color that would liven your face up. It needs an UP cut to bring your face and eyes UP. Some of the cuts you picked are draging your face down. I think possibly why the other comments are for the first one is because the cut is AWAY from your face instead of long and elongating the face structure you already have. Try some more cuts????? Maybe fuller on top? Just some suggestions. Why not go try on some wigs as well??? Never hurts!

I like the color in the 1st link and the cut in the 6th link. I love my red. It's a deep red that looks different in every light. It is a lot of maintenance but if you're willing to do it, it's so worth it.
