Should I switch to Studiotech from Studio Fix Fluid?

Hi! Have a slight problem here... I'm currently wearing SFF and I love the coverage and the finish (and the long-lasting aspect), but I find it to be too yellow (I'm an NC20 and NW def doesn't work for me) plus it accentuates my very dry skin.

Does Studiotech have the same shade problems or is is more neutral when it comes to shades? Any thoughts on what would be right for me? I'm wanting coverage and a smooth porcelain finish.

Help would be highly appreciated! TIA!

Studi Tech has a creamy/powdery texture, i use it and i love it. My MUA reccomended it for me because i have combination skin. I never tried any of the liquid MAC foundations i always used studio fix compacts (it kind of dried out my skin). Studio tech gives me a dewy look. It gives nice flaweless coverage when applied with 190 followed by the 187 brush.
Why don't you try it out? See if it suits your skin tone otherwise try moistureblend, it is similar and gives dry skin a smooth finish.
My advice for you is to try out both Studio tech and moisutreblend and see what suits you best.
Hope this helps

Great, thanks! Do you find the formula to be cakey at all on you, and how is the staying power? I'll try it out...

i don't find it cakey on my skin at all, i buff pressed blot powder on top of it and it lasts all day for me.

You should get samples from both foundationsand try them out for a couple fo days! also make shure you check colour in daylight and other lighting. i love studio tech ,but it only sets to a pwdery finish in the wintertime ( live in humid florida) and it's never cakey when you apply it with 187. IMO

i love studio tech! the coverage is buildable and if you apply it with a 190 or 187, you dont look cakey at all. i set it with a light dusting of blot powder and it stays fabulous all day long.

as for the color problem, definetly go to your mac counter and try it out and see if it works for you. if you find you have the same problem with the shade, you can always save your receipt and return it or exchange it. ive never tried thisbefore but you can also probably ask for samples to try at home too

I love Studio Tech, but daily usage on an oily/acne prone skin is inviting disaster. I definitely advise using it with a primer before, otherwise your skin might just eat it all up if you want to prolong its wear.

*~*I used to use Studio Tech, but I just switched to the Studio Fix Fluid. Honestly, I love them both. I switched to a liquid because I wanted to try something different, and so far I really like it. I use a primer before I apply it and I love the way it looks/ how long it lasts. Good luck!!*~*

Thanks, all of you! I might switch, not sure yet. SFF lasts so long and that's a big advantage in my book!

(And yes, Rocket queen is one of my fav songs!)
