Shy Slip of a Petticoat and a Rosey Minx

Man, I need to find some decent poses of myself! *lol* Well, here are my attempts at pink the last couple days. First one's quite subtle cuz I was soooo afraid of overdoing it to the point of the dreaded "crying eyes" look. Second one I took as a challenge to use my greatly neglected Rose pigment, which I took off after taking the pics cuz I didn't want to scare our FP whom we were going to meet. I just re-did it but toned it down.

Select Moisturecover concealer in NC42 (wrong colour, I'll be fixin' that soon)

Slip Pink e/s on apples
Shy Angel blush just above apples and on temples

Eyes
Petticoat on centre of lid blended towards inner and outer corners
Shy Angel to highlight and over browbone, crease and inner corner
Flirty Number e/s lightly on brow bone
Slip Pink in outer corners and blended into crease
Violet Underground eye kohl on upper and lower lash line
Lovely Lily pigment and Little Minx e/s packed on upper lash line
Maybelline Volum'Express mascara in Black Brown

Lips
Body Suit l/s
Budding l/g


Rosey Minx

White Opal pigment to highlight
Violet Underground e/k on upper and lower lash lines
Maybelline Volum'Express mascara in Black Brown

Lips
Pink Clash l/g
(Body Suit l/s added later)

To make up for the horrible poses, I'll add a pic of my hamster, Wicket (named after the Ewok, yes) later.

you have such a pretty nose i love the second look it's so beautiful! btw, how do you like rose pigment? i heard that it is really difficult to apply/blend =/

and now that i give this post a second viewing, i LOVE the first look as well. it's subtle but elegant.

Aw, thanks! My husband just made a weird face like he was trying not to offend me but hoping I'd change it before our meeting w/ the FP. Again, Rose pigment scares him.

I was trying really hard not to overdo the Rose, so I picked up just a bit at a time, barely covered 5 bristles. *lol* If you look closely, you can see on my left eye where I tried to add on more Rose pigment and didn't blend it in well enough. Somehow on the right eye it looks better - at least in my opinion. I didn't use anything except for my fluffy 217 for as sheer as I could get, but I made a mistake by not tapping it along where'd I want it and made a blob instead, hence the bad blending (perhaps impossible to blend at that point).

Bleh, if that didn't make much sense, just keep asking me till it does! Hope it helps some! Sorry so long!!

Psh, no worries, I didn't bother with it really till I got married at 24 cuz things get complicated when someone else is involved w/ money. If I was single, it'd be simple: more MAC! *lol*
