I think it depends on the volume of the counter. I've heard of some locations having ringers and stockers.

At my (freestanding) store we have 1 person on stock. We had a cashier during the holiday time, but she lasted only a few days. But at the (Macy's) counter, we all do everything.

Nooo, I think the only way that would be possible is if you worked as a on-call person for Macy's and only took the jobs for the MAC counter.
