Skin Tone Help

Hi there. I'm trying (unsuccessfully) to determine my skin tone. All through high school and college I thought I was cool, but the foundations I used always made me look super pink, which I hated. Recently I switched to Silk Naturals and when I posted a picture, they matched me to warm gold, which is obviously a warm color. Now I'm thourghly confused because I think the foundation works (having a hard time perfecting my mix), but I'm not positive. My veins are a greenish blue and I can wear both gold and silver jewelry and it looks fine. For clothes, I look great it deep jewel tones like sapphire, purple and emerald. I also wear and look good in navy, mustard yellow and brown. So now I'm wondering if I'm possibly neutral toned? I cant wear super cool or super warm tones (today I did a cool grey eye look with a very cool pink blush and looked very washed out all day). Orange looks terrible on me, but I can wear some golds. So, now that I've babbled on forever, here are some pics in various lighting. Hopefully some of you can help :)

You're a neutral pink. Some people are neither warm nor cold. The gold and silver jewellery thing is kind of a myth, as well as what colours look good on you. Some people look good in something just because it's /them/ if that makes any sense. Cool pink foundations would be too light pink for you, and warm pink foundations would make you look reddish/brownish/orangey depending on the shade. You need something with very minimal pink tones in a flat shade of ivory.

Thank you! I've been trying to figure that out for ages. And you hit the nail on the head with the foundation - every time I'm matched they are always soooo pink and then my face is this hideous reddish shade and my neck is white. Thanks again :)

Absolutely no problem. I'm a cool pink with olive skin. I know what it's like to have confusing or difficult skin and I think that's the whole reason that I learned so much about foundation in the first place. :p
