Sloppy Sunset FOTD

I'm practicing a look for an outfit, and though it won't be this sloppy when I actually wear it out in public, I thought the colors were beautiful nonetheless and decided to share.
I used:

Coppertone Blush spritz with Fix+
Shell CCB
Corn sh/st
Red Brick e/s
Coral e/s
Sushi Flower e/s
Coppering e/s
Chrome Yellow e/s
Chrome Yellow/Coppering wet with Mixing Medium to line bottom
Black Mascara X
Smoothberry Cremestick
Poppy Hop lipstick
Budding lustreglass

Yeah i can get away with just about any eyeshadow color, but lipstick? Yeesh, gotta be careful with those lol

That color on your lips is PERFECT with your skintone...very flattering!! I know what you mean about being careful with lip colors...sometimes I get something because it looked great on someone else and then on me...GAG! LOL

yeah pink poodle is something i've been wanting to try but i'm afraid it's gonna look like i got beat up by a paintbrush.
also i've struggled finding a good red. i stick to browns and golds and pinks.

For red, have you tried Fresh Moroccan or Dubonnet? I bet they'd look great on you.
The most red I go with is Mystic, and I am a NW 30-35, depending on the time of year.

I haven't tried them. I gave up on red for a bit when spring rolled around and used my last two back2macs on springy colors. I grabbed the culturebloom lipsticks. I don't usually buy lipstick, only the viva glams. I only get lipstick when I do back2mac. I tried fanplastico and it was pretty but it was a bit too opaque, and i wasn't willing to spend 17 dollars on it and then find out that I couldn't sheer it down. I'm not much for opaque colors.

I'm not feelin' the yellow; don't get me wrong; the makeup application is excellent, it's just that I don't like yellow. But for you, I give 2 thumbs up!

Don't I know what you mean...if I had all the money I've spent on lipsticks that I wore one time and realized they weren't right for me, I could buy a whole new MAC collection! LOL

when your eyes are open it doesn't look bad at all...all i can see is a little mess when they are closed...so your sloppy mu is most ppls good hahaha

the chrome yellow was giving me issues, so it is a bit heavier on one side than on the other. and i skipped the liner cuz it's a bitch to remove, and my favorite blending brush is dirty with carbon and i didnt wanna blend it onto the orange/yellow and eff it up, so i used this shitty blending brush i got for like a dollar in some homely store.

its sloppy but when I actually go out in it, i'll pay attention and make it look good.
