Smashbox Eyeshadows- Quality?

Have you used Smashbox eyeshadows, and if so, were they good quality? I had one that came in a kit but it wore off so fast and wasn't pigmented so I returned it. But the new Rapture eyeshadow set for the holidays is super cute! I'm tempted, especially with the 20% off right now, but I don't want to waste my money. TIA!

I bought the Ultimate Palette recently and i wasnt really impressed by there shadow quality in the kit.I thought they were pretty powdery and chalky.Some of the shadows were well pigmented but most werent.I also have a single shadow in baby pink which was a Lets Do Luch bonus and its the same as the shadows in the kit powdery and chalky.I think the shadows are alright but theres nothing WOW about them for me.I dont think id ever purchase there shadow again.You would think by my screen name that i would be a big Smashbox fan with there Wicked Lovely campain but i just liked the way it sounded lol The only thing i really like from smashbox is there soft lights!

I am also not a fan of smashbox eyeshadows, I only own a few shades but I don't think they are very pigmented AT ALL.

Thanks ladies, I was wondering if it was just a fluke that the one I tried sucked ass or if it was all of them. The new set in the pink packaging is adorable but not worth it. I also want the brushes:

I think their brushes (even SE) are usually decent quality, and would only cost $25 w/ my coupon at Sephora...

I have a few from the regular line that I like. But, I bought that set of 6 (I think thats how many there were) from the Holiday/Enchantress & they sucked big time!! There was hardly any color payoff....yeah, boo

Their "Eyelights" trios are really really good. The texture is like MAC Starflash.

That's the only Smashbox item I own.

I guess this is too late now but I love Smashbox eyeshadows, especially the matte ones.

Me too! I think that Smashbox has really high quality eye shadows. I am really loving the Artist Muse palette.

I find that it is really useful and has lots of great colors. They are pigmented and a little goes a long way. For the price I think that it is a great all around palette.

I have had terrible experiences with their customer service, but they have this really interesting shadow called Envy which is a black with multi-colored shimmer. I've never seen anything like that before, I want it.

i havent used their palettes but i brought one of their eyeshadow called zoom... i like the quality i use it on top of UDPP sin and it's really good... but as much pigment as i like so i have to go over it a couple of times... but still pretty decent...
