I'm thinking of doing a smokey green eye look for a party I'm off to next weekend, but I need some help.

What would be a good highlighter to go with a green smokey look and what colour/shades should I be looking at for my cheeks and lips?

Ta very much

If you use frosty eyeshadows for the smokey look (like Humid and Greensmoke), I wouldn't use a frosty highlighter. Maybe something like Brulé, Vanilla or Grain eyeshadows. For the cheeks, I'd suggest a neutral (Prism) or a peachy (Melba, Peaches) blush. The same for the lips: Viva Glam V or Freckletone. All Mac.

I agree with the non-shimmery highlight...Vanilla e/s is my go to highlighter for everything. I like soft pinks on my lips and cheeks with green smokey eyes, things like Pink Swoon, Coygirl, or even Dame are all lovely and will give you a nice flush without being over-powering. For lips, my favorite nude is Blankety with C-thru lipglass, but if you want to pink it up a little, you could sub underage lipglass, or Wonderstruck lustreglass. Then again, I love saying "f**k you" to the "rules" of makeup, and I love a bright lip with dramatic eyes, so Pink Nouveau or Show Orchid would be pretty, too. All personal preference, dear. HTH!

agree with the recs given so far. I usually do shimmery smokey green with Biogreen, Humid, Plumage and carbon. I tend to wear a matte highlight (Blanc Type). I do Cantaloupe blush which is a Pro matte blush. I personally don't wear peach lipstick very well unless they're really pale, but it depends on your skin tone. I usually finish the look with Marquise D' or a nude lip with Blankety

i have to agree as well with ladies above. Since you already have lots of shimmer/frost otherwise there's going to be too much going on. I usually use a matte highlight and my favorite is blanc type or maylar

I think a nude lip like MAC High Tea or Bare Slimshine would look lovely

I heard Rimmel's 'Birthday Suit' is a nice brownish nude too (as a cheaper alternative).
& For a peachy nude I really like 'Shy Girl' =)
