Smoky Moth Brown, and I love Sweet & Single!

The camera washes is out, but it turned out to be a nice smokey. Can't wait to try it with Playful instead of Budding Beauty... if I can get my hands on it!

I tried this look with two different lips, the 1st set of pics with Whirl l/l, the 2nd with Test Pattern l/l, both with Sweet & Single. Which one looks better? I feel like my lips disappear in the 2nd one!

I think I prefer the first lippie option with whirl, though both look pretty!

beautiful!!! I like both lippies, although I must agree with you that the 2nd lippie does make your MU look a little washed out. I still love it anyways, lol!

*lol* So we're still undecided about which lippie is good... good to see my indecisiveness is merited tho. =P

Thanks for all you kind comments! After seeing kels*'s fotd I think I'll try Blacktrack or Sharkskin (neither of which I have) to make Mothbrown darker. Any other tips/constructive criticism?

hi dear, what is your skintone? contemplating whether don't be shy will work on my chinese complexion!

Thanks girls! I'm so loving Moth Brown and Sweet & Single at the moment. =D

oddinary, not sure if I'm answering your question correctly, but I hover around NC25/30, about a medium-fair with yellow and slightly olive tones (I think?). I have dark undertones which come through, though, so I end up appearing darker in pics (hence the 2nd last picture). I'm normal-oily on a good day. =P I can pull off both cool and warm shades, tho some cool shades can actually look muddy on me (if it's not cool enough). I like Don't Be Shy as it brightens my face and is buildable so I can go sheer or girly. HTH!

Thanks readyformycloesup! Yep, it is indeed MAC, LE release with the Barbie collection called Toast of the Town. Imma pick be up another bottle - in short, it's almost like the polish version of Moth Brown!

I prefer the second one - I don't think it's too pale at all, it's subtle and shows your pretty lips

o_O those nails mean business! I like the 1st lip better. For some lucky reason, chinese complexion and red lips always look classy (like Gong Li in 2060)

I like the first pic for a night look, and the second for a day (i know is just the lips that are different).. but both are pretty... and toast of the town is great! i have it too.. but i think it chips fast... =(
