Smudge brush

Has someone tried Sephora Smudge brush? http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P102922&categoryId=C17384&shouldP aginate=true

Can someone also tell me the difference between Sephora Professional brush (black handles), and Sephora Professional Platinum Brush (silver handles). Whits one shold I get?

I haven't tried that particular brush, but I have a NARS one that looks identical and I love it. It's great for smudging liner, but I actually prefer to use it to apply eyeshadow on the lower lashline. I received the NARS one as I gift, but I would buy the Sephora one if I hadn't. I've had a couple of Sephora brushes, and they've been good to me.

I have the NARS one, too and I use it for the same reason as above. It's great! And, I do have a few Sephora brushes (crease, powder and slanted blush)...I would not part with them for anything. They are the black handles ones that were on sale for a while and the quality is magnificent. Hope that helps.

i actually have both smudge brushes! LOL. i can't live without them!

the professional (#14) is $12 and the platinum (#11) is $20. with a difference of $8 they do vary a little bit. personally, i prefer the #14, so i tend to reach for that one more often. both offer dense, tightly packed bristles, however, i feel that the #11 has slightly longer bristles. and the #14 just might be a little more dense. i feel that #14 offers more control when smudging. i would get the #14 professional (black handle) IMO. you'll save $8 and achieve comparable results. HTH!

I use the Platinum Sephora Smudge. Finer line, deposits denser amount of colour.
