I like his accent too. And..uh..I hate not wearing make-up! LOL My boyfriend sometimes thinks I wear to much or wear it when it's not neccesary. I just can't live without.

i think every man i know tells me i dont need to wear makeup and the rare occasion that i come to work only with lipgloss my coworker always seems to compliment me and tell me i look nice. my boyfrined loves the no makeup days cuz he doent have to worry about smearing my l/s if he wants to kiss me. i feel fine w/o makeup but lately wearing makeup makes me feel somewhat creative (and i am NOT creative usually)... so i like the feeling!

my boyfriend loves it when my hairs up all messy and no make-up. i used to never go out unless i had make-up on, but now i go out all the time make-up less.

That was so cute. He was too cute. I love British accents. And I think for the most part he was right. Women are more obsessed with how they look than men are. But at the same time if the media convinces women that there is a certain standard of beauty I think that men are also influenced by that. You can't see that everywhere and not be. I don't think it's to the same degree but it's there.

It seems like it's a bigger deal with girlfriends/wives. For example, my guy friends don't tell me I shouldn't wear makeup and my boyfriend doesn't tell other girls they shouldn't wear makeup, but he tells me that every so often. He used to ask me all the time why I wear makeup almost everyday, but he's come to accept it and only brings it up sometimes.

I only wear makeup a few times a week, If I'm going out. I never wear it to work, I'm too lazy in the morning to deal with it. I feel just as beautiful w/o makeup as I do with it. Sometimes, I feel more beautiful w/o it b/c if I'm too done up I'm not comfortable (I'm very casual). However, my boyfriend loves when I wear makeup, especially when I get all crazy and wear bright colors. He actually got so into it, he would come home with MAC for me! Some of the eyeshadows and lip colors he picked out:
Jewel Blue
Swimming
Tilt

Opal lustreglass
Pink Lemonade lipglass

just to name a few!

But, I am happy either way, with makeup or without. I wear it just b/c it's fun, not b/c I want to look "better."

My DH actually likes the makeup. He even makes requests for certain looks once in a while, lol. It's cute. I guess he understands that it's part of the package. He will voice an opinion when he doesn't like something, but not very often. His mom worked for Estee Lauder for 10 years before she retired, so maybe that's why.

I agree with Jennifer McFly. I wear it because it's fun, but I don't think it necessarily makes me look better. I'm not trying to impress anyone, or look like a totally different person. I'm just having fun playing with the pretty colors.

Besides, I get the feeling that many guys who say "I prefer girls without makeup" really mean "I prefer girls who look like Angelina Jolie without having to use makeup to get there." XD

Aw that is sweet of him...Im beginning to wear less and less make up especially when I go to school...I try to tone down my make up when its learning time hehe. But when I do go out like shopping or to the movies or any special occasion I do put on more make up. But like every body says its fun to put make up on and really its to try to impress the ladies lol. Why do you think I got into MAC? because of girls like all of you. I see something that I like on you and I want to get it! we got some beauty inspiration from women that we see everyday. Make up isnt trying to get guys attention its what us girls always love doing...thats why I love being a girl and doing girly things.

My current says I don't need makeup to look beautiful, but he requests electric eel whenever i see him. Apparently he's fond of. But he encourages my MAC addiction, He'll help me out at the counters sometime.

I like it though, It's fun to create new looks.

i go out a lot at night with no makeup. a lot of men i talk to tell me that they find it very refreshing to see a woman with no makeup. i took it with a grain of salt initially, but after hearing it more than a few times i am starting to think that it's true now.

my boyfriend likes the "i look like i'm not wearing makeup but secretly i am" look that i used to have. liner, concealer, powder, gloss and i'm good to go- BUT the funniest part is that i actually took LONGER to do that than i do now with the whole routine. when we first got together, i used to have HORRIBLE skin and it took forever to conceal.
