So my hubby is sick today.....

needless to say I did not get much sleep (why do guys turn into 2 year olds when they are sick?). As a result I have been in this overtired silly state all day and he has been lying on the couch watching discovery type channels. Currently there is a show on about pre-historic animals and they are doing a feature on beavers. They keep referring to it as the "giant beaver" and using all of these beaver words like "beaverish habits". I keep giggling away here in the computer room with my twisted tired mind totally in the gutter :twisted:

Please....someone come here and babysit him so I can get some sleep and think like an adult ~lol~

lol that is so true..men cant handle being sick. Its like they get sick and all of the sudden you need to be mommy...its annoying!! We can be sick, still take care of the house, the kids, and everything else that needs to be done, but if a (most men at least) get sick its the end of the world!!

As for you acting slap happy..lol! i act the same way when i get really tired and can't sleep..try ignoring the hubby and take a quick nap? hehe

OK, my DH is the stoic one when it comes to being sick and I'm the whiny, can't do anything for myself when I'm sick type.
He gets kinda frustrated and says "what would you do if you had a patient with these same symptoms?" I snap back with "who cares!?!?"

My hubby is so whiney when he's sick. He's the worst when he has a toothache, he's not the drinking type - but when he's sick those hot toddies work wonders for him. LOL - he sleeps, I can avoid smothering him.
