Ok why does the concealor sometime look really flaky on your skin when you put it on how can you stop that from happening?

what everyone else has said. wash your face regularly, exfoliate your face. the "flakes" are likely to be dead skin cells clinging to your top layers of skin still, and that can be remedied by exfoliating well. microfine refinisher works super well. wash your face, exfoliate a few times a week, regularly apply moisturizer, but wait for it to dry and soak in before putting makeup on top of it.

also, perhaps you should look into a new concealer? how old is the one your using? are you sure you are using it in the place it was designed to go? (i know that seems like a strange question, but some are meant for undereye only, face only, body only, etc) how are you applying the concealer? sometimes, the answer may be as simple as just changing product..

Flaking concealer:
- product is being applied too thickly.
- product is too thick (studio finish, studio stick).
- product is being applied over powder.
- product is on bare skin and is being over-powdered.
- you're wearing an oil-based moisturiser with a water-based concealer (or reverse).
- skin needs exfoliating.
- skin needs moisturising.

*phew!*

Flaking concealer is one of those really broad things - usually it's a mix of a couple from the above list. Do any of these sound right?
