Hey everyone! I know I haven't posted in awhile so I thought I might. I finally bought batteries for my camera so it works...for now!
With grad coming up, a lot of people have been asking me to do their makeup for them. Since I'm broke, I really don't mind at all! It's an easy way to make cash on the side and I really enjoy doing it so it's all good in my books. (And I only charge 10$ so these girls are getting a deal).
Anyways, in the past week I've done two grad makeup dry runs and I have two more girls coming in on Tuesday for theirs. So far I've made 30$ doing makeup and with the other two I'll be at 50$. Not bad
I need the extra money for grad to pay for jewelry and other things I need so I can't complain.
ON TO THE LOOKS!
LISA
Lisa has a gold dress covered in black lace, and she asked me to do her makeup with a touch of gold to it as well. She wanted something very neutral because she NEVER wears makeup to school, and she didn't want to look like a different person. My goal was to give her a nice spring look by keeping her eyes fairly neutral and making her cheeks look flushed and glowy. I'm not sure if I achieved what I was going for but she loved it!
Her dress:
The look:
She ended up paying me double what I asked for, because she said I was under charging people for my services haha. She said: "If I went to a salon or store to get this done I would be paying 50$ anyways, so I may as well give you 20$."
I love you Lisa. Haha.
FACE:
Benefit Lemon-aid
Her concealer which turned out to be way too light haha
CHEEKS:
MAC blush in Mocha
Smashbox Softlights in Shimmer
EYES:
MAC Nylon
MAC Goldmine
MAC Tempting
Stila's Gel Liner in Dark Brown (I don't know the exact name, it was hers)
The Mascara she brought
NYC brow powder
LIPS:
E.L.F Lipgloss in Candlelight
KRYSTY
Krysty had asked me to do her makeup for her grad a long, long time ago. So of course I just had to do it. She wanted something that would go nice with her dress, so I showed her a picture of something I had done previously and she loved it. Her look was inspired by the look I did on myself here:
I just added more silver to go with her dress.
Her dress:
The look:
The flash made it look way more blue than it actually is. It looked like a normal grey-ish smokey eye with a LITTLE bit of blue. I didn't want her makeup to look all tacky like she's trying to match her dress exactly haha.
FACE:
Nothin' (will probably use stuff on actual grad day)
CHEEKS:
Anabelle Blush in a muted pink (they don't have names)
Smashbox softlights in shimmer
EYES:
MAC Cyber
MAC Carbon
MAC Phloof!
MAC Deep Truth
Faces Silver
NYC Wait Till Dark
MAC's Powerpoint Pencil in Engraved
LIPS:
MAC Blankety
Sorry that was so long.
Thanks for looking!
