is it just me, but is anyone else finding that the color doesn't stay on long and it makes a sparkley, glittery mess?? i love the color of the peacocked eye pencil, but its not staying on long and making a glittery mess under my eyes. any sugesstions (besides bringing it back)??

I experienced the same thing, but everyone else seems to say otherwise.

I think there's going to be a lot of disappointed people as a result.

I'm having really good luck with mine. I put an eye primer along my lash line. I used a new one from Revlon from their Vital Radiance Line called Smoothing Eye Primer. UD would work too.

Actually I noticed that I have this issue with Night Sky and Iris Accents the most,. it kinda gets smudy looking after a while,.. I solved this problem by doing the following,.. apply blacktrack first and then Night Sky over it,.. and Iris Eyes as a base for Iris Accents,.. but I do find that the smudy-iness is pretty consistant with the eye "kohls". When I use paint I noticed it stays better as well,.. I still like them despite the smudging,..

I draw it on then use some kind of "sealer" to keep the glitter from running all over the place and it from smudging.

I've used PD's TransFormer or Benefit's SheLaq. I suppose MAC's Mixing Medium would work as well.

That's so wierd. I have 3 of them, (nightsky, peacocked, ultra chill), & when I got them I swatched them on my hand. I'm always applying lotion too, so theoretically they shouldn't have stuck well, but later I reapplied lotion & they stuck, & i washed my hands & they stuck, faded a bit, but still there. I finally had to get makeup remover to take it off.
It seems these pencils are really hit or miss b/c some have glitter flaking everywhere & other don't (mine don't)

I did but I have not used it yet. I am afraid I won't like it on me and I always use something once and then get rid of it....I will have to think on this, but the tester looked pretty on my hand! I actually liked ultrachill better but it would look horrible on me cause it is too light.

I have all of them and some colors do seem to wear off faster then others. Peascocked lasts the longest on me, Iris Accent fades very quickly. I think people are disappointed by the smudginess of these pencils, but isn't that the nature of kohls?

The colors do last longer over fluidlines. I'm not sure why. But definitely try layering Peacocked over Blue Peep. It really brightens up the color and makes it look even prettier.

I actually want a tiny bit of smudge which is why I use kohls and then smudge a little bit with my smudge brush. It softens the look around my eyes. I haven't had any glitter problems either with Nightsky or Iris Accent at all, but I always use an eye shadow primer around my eyes like Guerlain"s cream to powder eye shadows.

i've had NO problems with night sky, and have used it every day since i bought it. i need a backup, as i'm going through it much faster than i thought i would. the colors seem a little trickier to work with. getting the color and the sparkle to distribue evenly, and stay in place.

try dusting some powder over top after you apply the e/l, that seems to help somewhat. instead of a lot of glitter falling all over my face, there were just a few pieces of it when i used the powder.

i cant wait to get mine. maybe try a shadestick or some paint as a base under ur eye...but yea..all eye kohls on me smudge...they are made to smudge...but the base under it might help it from fading

I haven't had a problem, really. I've got Peacocked and Iris Accents. Peacocked doesn't fade or anything at all, and Iris Accents fades a very tiny bit, and the glitter migrates slightly, but it still looks good, IMO.

I only have Peacocked and so far it's been good to me. Also, I usually apply my liner after my eyeshadow so it sits on top of the eyeshadow which sits on top of Benefit Lemon-Aid.

I really wanted these to work on my lower lashline, but soon after my eyes got irritated and started to water at the corners. This happened with Engraved powerpoint, but it took longer for my eyes to get irritated. Im not sure if its just the formulas or what. Fluidlines are fine on my lower lashline, so i guess i'll stick with those.

As for the upper lashline, nightsky looked great, i havent tried Peacocked or Iris Accents yet.
