im so going to get backs up every single one! i cant belive how pretty they are!! i cant wait to wear then under some of our perm. eyeshadows!! I thought they were gonig to be liek rough and gritty but nope, they are soooo smooth. Sorry i just had to get that out..im in love with softsparkle eyepencils....

I am so incredibley bummed right now. This was the thing I really wanted most from this collection and where I am in canada said today they got everything but that, and the website is sold out of the black one.

Do they smudge or crease like the eye kohls? I'm praying that they don't. I guess they must be LE if they're backup-worthy.

I checked these out today and they are incredible! They glide right on and the you can't feel the glitter.....but you can see it, unlike other glitter pencils I have tried. Really these are amazing!

At Nordstrom they were missing Ultra Chill and the Light blue .. I forget the name. They never got them in and were told they were on backorder.
So, I headed to Macy's in the same mall and they had all 5.

Seems they are way under stocked.

what other pencils have you tried? im trying to find something to compare them to (well i wont ever get a look see since the UK isnt getting sweetie cake

I know what you mean!! I actually don't like MAC's khols usually, because they fade so quickly on me, but the softsparkle pencil lasted all day, no smudging or falling glitter either!

I really wish they'd make these permanent. I hope I can get Nightsky before it sells out.

Whooo Hooo!! I love them, too.

For those who were wondering, I've used NARS, Hard Candy, and Tony & Tina. These MAC pencils blow all three out of the water. With the other pencil (of which I find NARS to be the best of the three) you can feel the glitter scraping across your skin when you're lining your eyes. It's very creepy and probably not good for the delicate skin on your eye lids. These glide on without any scraping or dragging. The glitter is alot pretty because its super fine yet very visable.

I bought all 5 and got back ups of Night Sky, Peacocked, and Iris Accents.

I wore Peacocked with Lily White today and my fiance thought it was impossibly sexy. Don't miss out on these pencils. They're fabulous!

So people reckon they don't smudge? I'd be crushed if they smudge as much as the kohls...

I've tried the HC pencils and the trick to get them not to drag is to run the pencil (just the bit covered by the plastic cap) under warm water, or hold between your fingertips, or actually 'write' on back of hand till it's soft.

Can't wait for mine to arrive! I chose Peacocked, Reflecto & Iris Accents. Nearly got Nightsky but resisted, somehow...

i'm not a huge glitter fan, i didn't even like the MAC glittter liners from before, yet i LOVE these. i originally skipped peacocked since i thought it was too similar to minted, yet after using night sky, i realized i needed to go get peacocked, because the glitter looked SO good, and they stayed pretty well, too. nightsky, when combined with black tied and sharkskin shadestick, managed to last me through a night of partying, with no touch ups. def. recommend these, and i've also tried hard candy, urban decay, too faced, and nars glitter pencils, none of which even begin to compare with these.

exactly how glittery are these things?? i absolutely hate and can't stand glitter- just the thought of it makes me cringe!

I agree with bellaetoile... after using the Nars glitter eyepencils for several years, I was prepared for pain... but the MAC ones are so smooth on and the colors (esp. peacocky and iris accents) are gorgeous. However, don't do like I did and be tempted by the smoothness to line near the waterline!!! can you say "itchy"!!!? oh man that was a mistake. (I am college educated and know better--I know there's the warnings for a reason but I am a dork)

Needless to say, I was tempted to replace my Nars area pencil with Mac's nightsky, just because the glitter stays on and doesn't end up all over and on your cheeks. I wish these weren't LE!

I love these too, but I'm still covered in glitter even after I wash my makeup off. Haha.

I have Reflecto, Iris Accents, Ultra-Chill and Peacocked. I've tried the first two but not the others yet. I like pairing IA w/ Violet Underground as the colour shows up better. I'll have to find sthg for Reflecto as it's not as pigmented as I'd like it to be - I had to layer it on to get sthg to show well (hence the million sparkles after washing). It may be b/c I'm an NC35? But it looked great along my bottom lashes w/ IA & VU along the top lashline!
