Chrome yellow is a pretty hard color to work with... especially when it comes to blending.
Sometimes, in the effort to get something perfectly blended, the colors can get muddied. ..especially when using a Matte shadow. I bet if you tried this look with something like Golden Lemon Pigment, it will be easier to blend the purple in while keeping the colors vibrant. Also, maybe the outer corners are pulled out a little too much? You have gorgeous eyes and I think that a softer shape would enhance them rather than hinder them; if you know what I mean?

I hope that you don't take this the wrong way or anything.

I used to have a lot of trouble with Chrome Yellow, but the MA at the Vegas pro store taught me a great trick. first, put a layer of paint on, then put some water based mixing medium over it. wait until that drys, and then take a firm e/s brush and get some CY onto it, then just put it onto your lid. it makes it a lot easier to work with and looks better. and if you want the color to be even more vibrant, put primary yellow paint stick or corn s/s over the paint and under the MM.

yeah, it works for me, I think you should try it if you have access to mixing medium/pro store.

i heard spritzing an already loaded brush with fix plus is a good semi-substitute for mixing medium if you cant access a prostore.

Chrome yellow is an awesome color... I've been wanting to buy it forever. My take on it though is that it's more of an "ACCENT" color [if you know what I mean]. For example, You can do Chrome yellow just on the lids, and do a darker color on your crease for more depth. I picked up a brush by Smashbox the other day #15... and it works great for doing the crease. Anyway, just my 2cents.
