What do you listen to when applying make-up?
(whether it's tv, someone talking to you, music, etc..)

In the morning, it's usually CNN. Other shows can be too distracting...

Usually I'll do it in the morning so I'm watching something like the Today show or the View or local news. Now when I'm getting ready for work I'm soo nervous to look perfect that I go through like three different looks haha. I have my lil Arabic CD mixes that I listen to because they relax me.

I know that this sounds awkward, but listening to metal helps me concentrate and focus on my work. Hip Hop or radioshows make me agressive and annoy me... so I'll listen to HxC or metal. I guess I like to be yelled at.

Something I can dance to! Anything that I find makes me tap my foot or shake my ass helps me do my makeup. It gets me through my routine, especially if I'm going out (which means 45 minute makeup haha). So Rap, R&B, Dancehall, Oldschool Funk, Electronica, if it gets me movin'...watch out!

I wake up at 6am so I listen to music while I get ready. I even have a "Morning" playlist which has fast songs from hellogoodbye, chorus line, hairspray, rocket summer, Say Anything... Reallly gets me going. And I listen to bright eyes while I do my streching and yoga for 15 mins in the morning

depends on what time of year it is, and what time of day it is, lol.

i'm a huge baseball fan,so if it's spring, summer, or early fall, then baseball will be on in the background. if there's not a game on tv, than it'll be either msnbc news, or my windows media player random playlist. i can't do anything without some background noise, lol. i always do my makeup in my bedroom, at my dresser, so i have the convenience of both a TV (with 1000+ channels) and my cdplayer/radio, plus my laptop at my convenience.

I usually do my makeup mid-afternoon to evening and listen to a mix on my iPod - hip-hop/r & b/techno/top 40, etc.

music, whatever kind of music i'm in the mood for at the moment. usually, my looks are inspired by music, so i'll listen to whatever kind of music inspired the look that i'm doing.
