special occassion eyes

we're going to a friend's show on my birthday, and me and the ladies are dressing up because well...we never have anywhere to go to that we need to dress up haha and we're girls, so we wanna be girly sometimes. so we're using my birthday as an excuse.

my mom and i just bought the fabric for my dress which is going to be a 50ish style halter, and the fabric's baby pink with cherries on it.

naturally i'm going with the classic red lips and my trademark bronzed cheeks, but i'm kind of lost what to do with the eyes. i don't want a boring cat eye, but i also cannot wear pink anywhere on my eyes because it just isn't flattering. does anyone have any ideas (pictures would be fabulous, if you have them.

) for what i could do with the eyes?




ps. my colouring is nw/nc15 brown/red hair and green eyes, if that helps any!

hmm...what about something a little bronzey, but not plain browns. you could use e/s like amber lights, woodwinked, etc.

Aww...the dress sounds so cute!
I love the idea of classic red lips with bronzy glow cheeks.
Still put on black eyeliner, but to add some color and dazzle to your eyes, I'd suggest using soft golds (on the lid) and bronze in the crease - this will make the look more interesting, but without making it too over the top with the red lip.
