well
here goes, i was RUSHING with my makeup this morn, cuz i was gonna be late 4 work, and i was screwing the cap on to blue brown pigment, sideways, (visualize this) and it DUMPED onto my vanity

making me even more LATE!!

so there was a mess, and i was determined not to waste, this expensive mac product, so i scooped up the residue onto my 239 brush and put it back into the container, to the best of my ability, but there was still a mess on my fingers, so i wiped them on my lips and VOILA!!! awesome lipstick was born

i smoothed it out with the retractable lip brush, and it looked fab & funky
necessity is the mother of all invention ....

I regularly use Blue Brown pigment dabbed over red or dark pink lipstick or lipgloss, it looks so awesome overtop of that red base. Try it applied with a lipbrush, just dabbed in the center of your lips and smoothed out a bit, over red lipsticks. It looks gorgeous!

You can actually get that combo premixed with MAC Pro Gloss in Blue Brunette. It's lovely.

It might look cool to mix up green brown pigment with clear gloss.

Word of warning to those with very pigmented lips, these combos will pull very blue or green. Let's just say it's not a neutral look.

I turned over my Pink Pearl Pigment right after I got it (I was so upset!!), and I ended up doing something similar to you! I got up as much as I could, but I got a lip brush and used what was left on my lips. I might have to give Blue Brown a go now.

i've heard about bb pigment making a cool lip color, now i'm inspired to try it out!

btw, i always put my pigments in a sample jar (i bought a bunch on ebay) to use them whenever i buy a full size. that way i don't have to worry about spilling the whole thing. either way, it sucks to drop them!

ack!! - my WORST nightmare to drop and/or spill a piggie, and yes I've done it

I try to use small samples from each now in sample jars so if I drop it I at least wont lose a lot - that was a lesson learned...LOL!
