Bianca Alexander, Director of Makeup Artistry for MAC, gave us the scoop on what the hottest items for sexy Spring/Summer skin would be. All of these products were used heavily at Spring/Summer 2008 Fashion Week backstage.
The best bronzer for skin...MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural! If you are looking for sexy skin this spring/summer, try the MSF a shade or two darker than your skin tone. Bianca said it...this has officially taken the place of bronzer! It's a "see through" bronzer that adds a slight sheen and RADIANT color. Many of you may know this trick already. I tried this on almost all of my clients this weekend at the counter and they loved it!! Try it with a kabuki, 129 or 109 brush, basically anything domed. Also, use this same color as a crease color for your eyes, it's delish...
Also, wearing it all over, lightly buffed is very pretty. There is a video of Kim Kardashian getting her makeup done, and she is wearing tons of it. Her skin looks absolutely stunning and not cakey or matte at all. PM me if you want the link! (BTW, did you know her favorite products include Pink Swoon blush, Angel lipstick, Stripdown liner)
Skin should look "candlelit", so light coverage foundation is in! This means Face and Body and Select Tint, and if you need more coverage, try Tech or Stick. The key is moist, glowy skin, nothing matte or "unnatural".
