Stealing YouTube Videos

Is there a way to stop people from stealing your YouTube Videos? I googled my screen name to see what I would find and I found that all my videos were on some site called VongCong.com. I went to YouTube to stop the videos from being embedded. After I did that, I went back to VongCong and my videos still played. Their player looks different than the embedded YT player so I figure they ripped my videos from YouTube and directly posted them to their site.

On all of my videos, I make it clear that I own them and have my screen name all over them so it's hard for them to lie and say that the videos are theirs. I'm just bewildered by all of this. Is there something I can do to stop them?

If I'm not mistaken, I think VongCong is a website about music and fashion. So if you post videos about hair or beauty on YouTube I would see if this site has stolen your videos too!

i have no idea but i can't believe people steal videos now! it is bad enough when they take photos but a bloody video?! other than reporting them and getting the site to take your videos down i am not sure what you can do really.

prettypackages, the protocol would be like anything that you "borrow" -- first you might ask permission, then you must give credit and not just swoosh it away and maybe not even give credit.

there are internet laws (but too hard to enforce unless it's outright bullying leading to a crime) but the videos are as yet in a grey area.

a letter to the service provider would probably be more effective.. net laws are too nebulous yet as there are huge gaps in jurisdiction.
