*4 is the pink shade, it's great as a wash.

I have 6 of them (3,4,5,6,10,12) and just don't reach for them that often. They aren't like MAC pigments at all - they are much more finely milled, and with the exception of one or 2 colors, aren't as pigmented. Plus you don't get as much for your money - you only get 1 gram for $14, as opposed to the 7.5g of MAC pigment for $18.50.

I only want them as a wash. I use Revlons Loose Powder on my eyes right now and rather use something made for eyes. I might get these or the Bare Minerals Glimmers.

Why don't you buy MAC anymore, if you don't mind my asking?

I haven't in awhile really. I think the last time I got stuff was from Belle Azure and the one with the bronzers. I just don't like the whole Limited Edition game so I just threw that company off my list. I never was a big fan of theres anyway just like the lipglasses and bronzers. I have since found better proudcts anyway. Plus, there is no MAC stores around here so it's not a big loss to me.

Yeah, my logical mind totally agrees with you, I wish I had the will power to buy *just what i need* and *only what I'll use* but although i would NEVER PAY $50 FOR AN EYESHADOW ON EBAY, I do tend to get caught up in all the flashy colors and the fact that the LE's are NEW and everyone's talking about them. Props to ya!

People hype a lot of the LE items and I don't find them to be anything special. For me, I am into natural make-up now because people used to always stop me and ask what make-up do you use and stuff and I hated it because I felt like people noticed the make-up and not me. Now when people compliment me I know it's for me and not make-up. It feels so much better. My boyfriend taught me I didn't need all that eyeshadow and stuff so I'm glad he got me off that stuff.

And I realize Stila also makes LE items, but it doesn't seem to be like MAC. They over do it in my opinion. People are all worried OMG THIS IS LE I NEED 25 BACK-UPS. It's very dumb in my opinion. I used to love Impish lipglass and was so worried for when I ran out and now I'm like it's just lipgloss get over it. I actually got rid of it because I felt dumb for being so obsessive over it.

ITA they are Nothing like mac pigments, unless you think about a lighter version of the metal pigments. They are much finer. I also agree the price is a bit high for the teeny tiny container.

I didn't want them because I thought they were like Pigments. I used used it as a small comparision since they are used on the eyes like pigments. I wanted something close to Revlons loose powder, but I didn't think anyone would know how they looked on the eyes.

I've never used MAC pigments, but the AOS eyes is very fine in texture, if you're looking for a knock off of those pigments, I'd suggest Tony & Tina (available on EBAY since it' discontinued) or NYX loose shadows (very cheap).
