Yay for me! I guess I did really well @ the group interview =D
Original Post:
So today I went into Sephora, the girl there told me they were hiring part time (yay) and gave me an application and the name of their hiring manager as well as her availability this week for me to come in.
So if anyone here has worked at Sephora, or interviewed with Sephora etc, please let me know what to expect from them!
Now, I applied to freelance at a MAC store about a month ago. I called to ask about the status of my application since I never heard back from them. Well, the manager that I'd been dealing with apparently is on leave for awhile, and the person I spoke to was of absolutely no help. My current job has fallen to pieces and I don't wanna just slip into a job that I know I won't like...
My question: would it be easier for me to apply at a counter in Macy's or Nordstrom's as opposed to hearing back from that particular store? If anybody here happens to work at a Nordstrom's or Macy's in San Diego California, help me out!!!
I really don't wanna work at Target or something and be miserable, I want a job in something I'm passionate about. People who work in settle-down positions have a tendency to look miserable, and therefore treat the people around them like crap, so I really want a job where I'll be happy and it'll reflect in my work. And I want the experience/training to better my make up skills.
Thanks in advance!
